Sunday 27th August 2007 “Make Space For Fallen Christians”

Dear good people,

I hope you had an extremely great weekend, I know the new comers @ frontrunnerz had a ball of a bash, because I was there. Eeeh! nili gatecrash. Mutadoo?

Anyway back to the business of the day… Pasi began this Sunday with the verse which you should all know so well, whether you attend the service or just blog from the Diaspora

Mathew 18:20 (NIV)

20For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.”

Mathew 7:18 (NIV)

Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.

We all need to bear some form of fruit, this is in line with our role on this earth. There are two types of fruit that can be born good Fruit and bad fruit. The bad fruit are otherwise known as the acts of sinful nature which are obviously…

Galatians 5:19-21 (NIV)

19The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

On the other hand or the better side of life we have the fruit of the Holy Spirit

Galatians 5:22-26 (NIV)

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

Friends which fruit do you bear? Are you living it out to be Christ like, I know we are not all perfect, but we must strive to be more like Christ. We must exercise self control, this must apply to all aspects of our lives…

Proverbs 25:28 (NIV)

Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self-control.

4o% of the population of the United States is obese, overweight, gigantic… This is because of lack of self control when it comes to eating habits. Pasi gave us an example of how here our ice-cream is measured in scoops, as in like 2 scoops per person where as in the states its by the litre per person. Coke in the fast food stops is limit less (By the way HINT HINT HINT if you eat Chicken at Galitos ‘in Nairobi’ the coke is also bila limit).

40% fo the population of Swaziland and Botswana is HIV+, this is because of lack of self control of sexual behavior, pasi created a laugh when he said that the best business to go into it those countries is selling zips since they are always being opened and closed.

We need to get to a place were there is self control. Ladies, if your man is watching action movies and wrestling and the works, don’t think that he will not practice that on you in future, I want to clear that notion in many girls minds that they can change their men. This is utter nonsense and I have seen practical examples of chicks who thought that, but are being hammered in their houses to date.

Evaluate your friends, are they patient? Are they kind? Are they adaptable to change? Check out if your mate prefers to microwave his food instead of cook it, does he fast forward movies looking for the action? Does he kick the cat because it on the way?

Oh and by the way if your boyfriend/girlfriend is dogging, kill the story NOW don’t wait till there is a ring on his/her finger because then it will be divorce and that is CLEARLY forbidden in the bible. Good riddance.

Let us consider the fruit; the greatest of them all is love…

1John 4:8 (NIV)

8Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

What kind of people are we?

Proverbs 20:9 (NIV)

9 Who can say, “I have kept my heart pure;
I am clean and without sin”?

Can any one of us say that we are holier than thou? the chance of someone finding you buying a pint or a mozo, or more still a girls pregnancy begining to show is inevitable. Then we refuse to identify with those that fail. You do not want to be associated with that person who has fallen by the wayside, who has taken to drinking, smoking, that person with HIV.

Friends, what you do unto others will be done unto you!!!

Sexual sin is amongst us. When a girl gets pregnant, people begin to talk trash, Pasi gave the example of someone seeing him buying a bottle of smirnoff ice in a supermarket, instead of the person going to Him (Pasi) and sharing his concern, he/she decides to go and spread the story in rumor mode. (Msengenyano)

Have you noticed how a story that is based on backbiting someone or maligning someone’s name is always itching to be told, that burning sensation to spread the ‘bad’ news.

Well friends the truth is that its better to tell afflicted party (in this case pasi) or tell a friend who can tell him.

Christians who fall into sin are not safe amongst us…

Of all religions, Christianity is without a doubt the one that should inspire tolerance most, although, up to now, the Christians have been the most intolerant of all men.

Mao-tse Tung said

If you call yourself a teacher, the obvious place to look is behind to check if there are followers.

chicks who have become pregnant no longer come to church because of stigmatization by you peepz who think your perfect. They no longer feel safe amongst you (this time I have not said ‘amongst us’ because I know that having been down there, I have a place for every fallen soul in my heart).

So if you really need to backbite someone, do it with the Lord, He is always willing to listen. We must stop eating each other alive. We who backbite for a living are the ones who need the most help when we are down. We should make church a ‘spiritual clinic’ We must begin to dine with ‘sinners’ (I put the word sinners in quotes because we are all sinners so ‘sinners’ here means fallen Christians). Remember the story of Zacheus? the terrible tax collector fella who had to climb up a sycamore tree to see Jesus? Well Jesus came to his house and dined with him. Yes, Jesus had dinner with a fella considered to be a ‘sinner’. What were the results of this? Zacheus paid all his debts and apologised to those he had wronged.

We can achieve the same goal and create an atmosphere for a party in heaven. We must standby our fallen fellow Christians.

Romans 3:23-24 (NIV)

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

We kill our own by ignoring or sidelining them when they fall… Who are we lying to? When we fall who will pick up the pieces fro us if we dont help our own friends?

Gossip is saying we are better than others and God detests pride.

-All if us can fall

-All of us can mess up

We need to pray that the Holy Spirit resident within us can come to our aid, come to those who have fallen and come to those who have given up. We need to…

-Pray for peace

-Pray for Understanding

-Pray for patience

-Pray for self control

This will go a long way in helping us control our urge to gossip. Be the place where gossip is burried because your day is coming.

Greater days are coming, choose righteousness. Heaven is too good to miss. Quit stealing from marriage by having sex before. You will find marriage boring and with no excitement. Imagine the honeymoon with nothing to write home about because you have already been there and done that?

Many of us are dying in the inside; our secrets are not safe with other people. We live a life in masks.

As followers of Christ, lets bring back fallen people and one day they will have a testimony to give. We can choose today to shut up about others. It is time to pray and kill gossip.

Hebrews 13:15 (NIV)

15Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that confess his name.

How do we look at the glass? Is it half full or half empty? Be in the business of being appreciable to others. See the good in others. The glass is always half empty, no one is beyond th grace of God. All we need is for someone to love them.

Let me pen off with this passage today…

Mathew 19:19 (NIV)

Jesus replied, ” ‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’ ”

Thank you all and God bless through the week

Sunday 19th August 2007 “VIP’s”

Dear Friends,

Dr. Tom Olewe who is rather soft spoken but very interesting was our guest speaker this Sunday. This gentleman runs a clinic that caters for street kids and former street kids, this is a noble calling. This goes out to all of us… However learned we are or will ever get, we are still capable of giving back to society. Dr. Olewe, (I will call him Tom), Tom can very well be in some high flying private clinic in one of these upmarket doctors plaza’s that are springing up all over but he has chosen the noble role mentioned above.

Anyway, Tom started the day with the joke of the two drunks who where driving to Mombasa, the ‘fools’ decided to get hi before beginning the journey, the drank all day and set off in the evening with the agreement of driving in turns, one to Mtito-Andei and the other nerd to take over and drive the rest of the way down to the coast. So as drunkard ‘A’ is doing his turn, Drunkard ‘B’ takes a nap in the back seat. When they get to Mtito, the chap drives into a petrol station and is requested by the attendant to drive round to a free pump. This leaves the ride facing Nairobi. Drunk ‘A’ jumps out, wakes drunk ‘B’ to do his turn and while the car is still being fueled, drunk ‘A’ hops into the back seat and snoozes off. Drunk driver ‘B’ gets into the drivers seat, pays the attendant and drives off… (Remember the direction the car was facing when it enter the station as per the directions of the attendant and conclude for yourself where they ended up)…

A drunk climbs into a bus to go home from town in the evening, sleeps. The bus gets to the end and the conductor wakes the guy up, he finds that he had taken the wrong bus and is driven back to town. He does this again in a second bus, finally he descides to climb into a big noisy bus, hopeing its homewards bound where he sits near some mama, she cant stand the pong comming from his breath and tells him that he is going to hell, the guy says…

Oh no… I am in the wrong bus again.

The concise oxford dictionary defines this as..

VIP abbr.
very important person

These are people who are accorded special privilages according to thier importance. in society we consider certain categories of people as VIP’s. These include Politicians, Managers, ther rich and famous (Any peep who lives in Katen or Muthiaga) even if he is bankrupt.

Well the flipside is that we are all VIP’s, we are all very important in Gods book. We are all equal, be we fat thin, live in Muthaiga, live in Kibera, according to Sir Jehovah… we are all the same.

If you have a worker, mboch, treat the them like your VIP.

Below is the trinity of influence, 3 pillars of influence

1. Vision – this is an image of a revelation of how your life is and is a plan on the way foward.

This involves how your life would like to be produced by a revelation of seeing the future in a hilistic way. E.g. Planning your career etc. This vision be described very vividly e.g. a vision statements. Vision brings focus and clarity to the future.

2. Integrity – this is the quality of being hinestand having a strong willpower, morals and principles that refuse to change.

You have to say what you do and dow what you say based on strong morel foundations. People without integrity are non-accountable.

Psalms 25:21 (NIV)

21 May integrity and uprightness protect me,
because my hope is in you.

3. Passion – This word is misconstructed in many quaters e.g. when I tell a lady ‘I have a Passion for you’, thats misuse.

Passion is to have a drive to achieve a particular goal. If you go out with like 15 mates with the intention of marrying one, is lack of passion. Have some princiles and use your passion and integrity. Quit chick/guy hopping.

Here is a link to the three pillars above with Joseph in the bible.

Genesis 37:1-11 (NIV)

Genesis 37

Joseph’s Dreams

1 Jacob lived in the land where his father had stayed, the land of Canaan.

2 This is the account of Jacob.
Joseph, a young man of seventeen, was tending the flocks with his brothers, the sons of Bilhah and the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives, and he brought their father a bad report about them.

3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than any of his other sons, because he had been born to him in his old age; and he made a richly ornamented [a] robe for him. 4 When his brothers saw that their father loved him more than any of them, they hated him and could not speak a kind word to him….

9 Then he had another dream, and he told it to his brothers. “Listen,” he said, “I had another dream, and this time the sun and moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”

10 When he told his father as well as his brothers, his father rebuked him and said, “What is this dream you had? Will your mother and I and your brothers actually come and bow down to the ground before you?” 11 His brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept the matter in mind.

Tom gave of the example of how in 1990 he had a vision to set up a cilnic, VIP health services. 2 months later, someone donated lab equipment, 3 months later he got his rent donated, 2 months later he had a consultant to work with him. Is this not all because of a vision that is compounded with integrity and a passion to achieve a worthy moral goal?

We are all beautiful however we are made. In this we should all have a vision like Joseph.

the devil does not want us to have a good vision so he will work to destroy it (I figure that is why I can’t see my vision, its always blury)Shetani ashindwe!!!

Genesis 39:2 (NIV)

2 The LORD was with Joseph and he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master.

Joseph was a small time worker but he kept focus because of his integrity and moved up the ladder. Everything that he touched prospered.

Once again its a fact that we are all beautiful, including Joseph. Its not only Christians who notice your beauty.

Look at this excript from

…Now Joseph was well-built and handsome, and after a while his master’s wife took notice of Joseph and said, “Come to bed with me!” But he refused. “With me in charge,” he told her, “my master does not concern himself with anything in the house; everything he owns he has entrusted to my care. No one is greater in this house than I am. My master has withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?”

Joseph realized who he would have been sinning against: God. We should all take that attitude with our actions.

And though she spoke to Joseph day after day, he refused to go to bed with her or even be with her. One day he went into the house to attend to his duties, and none of the household servants was inside. She caught him by his cloak and said, “Come to bed with me!” But he left his cloak in her hand and ran out of the house…

Many of us young people (If you can call me young… whatever) fail in integrity in relationships and we end up falling into sexual sin (even God you know the way I have lengad that story)…

Anyway when you where doing it was your brain with you?

Was your head on your shoulders?

Genesis 39:9 (NIV)

9 No one is greater in this house than I am. My master has withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?”

When we are having sexual temptations Dr. Olewe told us to remember the Frontrunnerz Logo…

FrontRunnerz Logo1

Split, dash, run for dear life… Ishia kabisa.

Integrity is not a concept, you have to hold on and the favour of God will follow. People with vision and integrity are very useful to those of us who are still seeking and dont yet have a vision of our own. (MENTORS)

Politicians should know that its the vision, inegrity and passion for a better nation that makes them good leaders and not the amount of cash they spend on the campeign trail.

If you have vision, integtrity and passion to follow you through. Even those who hate you will come looking for you.

Joseph became king, he worked for Gods purpose, though he suffered, he kept the faith. This world is bleeding for men and women who are truely VIP’s. Influence begins with the Holy Trinity, SALVATION (In bold caps), These things are not meant for the learned and elite in society, they are meant for all of us, the meek and simple.

Pastors cannot change a country, politicians who think they can change a nation, now imagine politicians with Vision, Integrity and Passion?

Kenya is full of rich foolish people, alot of money and no brains, extremely educated but unwise. The foolish rich who think that with cash they can run life.

Look at the Top CEO’s in the world, most have no political affiliation, many are saved church going people, ya trie VIP’s. The first step is to accept Christ.

During his course of mission, Paul, formerly Soul, went through massive torment and suffering but because of his vision, intergrity and passion, his influence is still felt today.

We are Credited for influence… What can God do through you?

Thanks for your time

Jonathan Kathukya.

12th August 2007 ‘Faith’

Dear Friends,

This week was out out of the ordinary, Pastor Tony gave a strong message on faith that was based on his personal experience, I will not put it down here as I strongly believe that we need to be there in person to get the full meaning of some messages, especially when they are based on personal experiences.

What I will do is give some few pointers on faith and its relation to the live we lead today, these where given by pasi before he began is pesonal story. Lets start with a definition of faith

Websters Dictionary defines it as…

1. A strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny; “he lost his faith but not his morality”.
2. Complete confidence in a person or plan etc; “he cherished the faith of a good woman”; “the doctor-patient relationship is based on trust”.
3. Institution to express belief in a divine power; “he was raised in the Baptist religion”; “a member of his own faith contradicted him”.
4. Loyalty or allegiance to a cause or a person; “keep the faith”; “they broke faith with their investors”.

 Chambers Dictionary defines it as…

faith noun 1 trust or confidence. 2 strong belief, eg in God. 3 a specified religion • the Jewish faith. 4 any set or system of beliefs. 5 loyalty to a promise, etc; trust • break faith with someone. bad faith dishonest; treachery. in good faith from good or sincere motives.
ETYMOLOGY: 13c: from French feid.

Trust and believe, have faith in God’s declareation. Truth comes with faith. Tell the truth always and it will set you free.

We often hide from the truth. the government uses the judicial system, highly payed magestrates, lawyers and judges to strive to get the truth. Just imagine how easy and cost saving it would be if we all confessed.

The Goldenberg saga cost the government hundreds of millions of shilling is stolen money but by who? It again cost more hundreds of millions in an enquiry that till today seems not to have established any truth.

Truth is relative to society.

Hebrews 11:4 (NIV)

4By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did. By faith he was commended as a righteous man, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith he still speaks, even though he is dead.

On our birthday, we wish for a gift, and not only just a gift, we wish for the best gift. On the other hand when its our turn to give we give the cheapest. We use the imaginatve quote “its the thought that counts”. Ati you your mate gives you an expensive necklace, when its your turn to give you give a matchbox and say ati its ” To light up your life” That one pasi called outrughtly RUBBISH.

It takes faith to give more and not to expect.

Ecclesiates 11:1

Bread Upon the Waters

1 Cast your bread upon the waters,
for after many days you will find it again.

These days we dont want to wait. We hope to find no lines in the supermarket (Especially me), we expect cheap things (Especially me), We want but things eg, a dress cheaper then sell it for more than we bought it even after using it. Yet we dont want to give.

Have you made any sacrifice? Yes you???

When you give it comes back to you.

Mathew 7:12 (NIV)

12So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

In the old Testament Abel gave his best, Caine gave his worst.

Your gift tells how much you value the person you are giving. We have to define well the love we have for who we are giving, when we give it must have meaning, forget the ‘out of sight out of mind’ stuff.  GO THE EXTRA MILE. (When it comes to giving I must admit I am a failure both to myself and to the Lord. This sermon has helped me rethink my giving) I hope it helps you too.

Look at Abraham, he left upmarket Egypt to go live in tents, this was Gods will, are you willing to make such a sacrifice? Choose to believe in the declaretion of God in the scriptures.

Lets end today with a question. I hope you will all respond to… Pasi gave a moving story of how serious health problems tested his faith to the maximum over a period of nearly 2 years, yes there are times he was at the verge of giving up but he held strong.

Use the comment box to share your own story of test of faith that you pulled through victorious in Jesus name. Sharing this will go a long way in helping others understand that through faith we can all pull through.

I am not giving mine because in my one year of salvation, I have had problems in spiritual, health, and physical life. Yes, you may see Jona smile at you on Sunday morning but life has not been a bed of roses. I truely thank God for bringing me this far and I AIN’T GIVING UP.

Thank you all

God bless you

August 6th 2007 “Reputation to Revelation”

Dear Friends,

I truly hope that you are all blessed in the Lord and that you are having a blessed week.

This Sunday saw Miss Leah Wanjiru of the ICN (International Christian Centre News) fame give us a very interesting testimony, yes, I say interesting because there was pitch dark silence then groaning then total appreciation as she conclueded… I cannot quote word for word but must stress on the key points that touched on the reality of us and human beings.

Leah mentioned that many of us come to church to hook up with our pals, that we have lost the meaning of comming to church, that the essence is stale. She reminded us of the core reason to come to church and it connects very well with the sermon dated 22nd July 2007…

Mathew 6:33 (KJV)

33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Need I add more? I don’t think so…

She was followed by Sue-Abby who read a very nice poem. Please find the link to this poem at the end of this sermon.

This Sunday we had a guest speaker, Mr. Richard Bogere From the Land of many banana’s and matoke, Uganda. Mr Bogere is the academic dean at the Kampala school of theology, but is currently doing a masters with mama TJ in tao.

He first declared that his kiswahili is poor and gave a rathar interesting excuse as to why… It goes something like. Swahili was Born in TZ, this good quality, then it fell ill in Kenya, Si wasee munamezea hii storo?, Died in Uganda thus the reason Richard knows not much or any of it and was burried in DRC.

1 Kings 10:1-4 (NIV)

The Queen of Sheba Visits Solomon

1 When the queen of Sheba heard about the fame of Solomon and his relation to the name of the LORD, she came to test him with hard questions. 2 Arriving at Jerusalem with a very great caravan—with camels carrying spices, large quantities of gold, and precious stones—she came to Solomon and talked with him about all that she had on her mind. 3 Solomon answered all her questions; nothing was too hard for the king to explain to her. 4 When the queen of Sheba saw all the wisdom of Solomon and the palace he had built, 5 the food on his table, the seating of his officials, the attending servants in their robes, his cupbearers, and the burnt offerings he made at [a] the temple of the LORD, she was overwhelmed.

In the reading above, the queen had gotten fed up of hearsay, she planned a trip to go and see king Solomon for herself.

We live in a generation that is satisfied with second hand information, but there comes a time when we need to do things for ourselves. No one can see on your behalf, no one can worship God on your behalf. Your testimony is not a shared resource, its yours, you have not lived it jointly with anyone else, its yours alone.

You watch Family TV, listen to Hope FM etc. Yes you hear the word and hear other peoples versions of understanding, but there comes a time that you have to pray and read the bible for yourself that God may reveal Himself to you.

Richard gave the example of when he had gone to the graduation party of a pal who had cleared flying school, there was fun and secular music in the background (Loud) but he still claims to have felt a chill go through his body. He told the fellas sitting next to him that he was feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit. This culminated in him pasing out and being taken to one of the hostels to catch rest. When he awoke, he found that he was suffering from Malaria, Richard had confused the Holy Spirit with Malaria, he could not tell the difference between the Holy Spirit and Malaria because he had never experienced the Holy Spirit.

How can you have a relationship with God?

1. Through Personal Encounters (Prayer)

2. Spending Time with him (Quiet time)

This will cost you, remember it just won’t land. You may have to wale up early, you may have to sacrifice more time like for example TV time. Please note that if you Love Jesus you will be willing to make these sacrifices and come to him.

We need to create an attitude of wanting to give not always receiving. We always come ‘I Want’ and ‘I need’ attitude, rarely do we come with a give attitude, ya the regular giving… Tythes, offerings, giving smiles, giving love, giving help to the poor etc. Note. Giving does not have to be financial.

The queen of Sheba Spoke with king Solomon, he answered all her questions. Clearly note that she talked WITH him not TO. The had a conversation it was not singular. In the same way we should strive to talk WITH God through prayer.

Friends prayer is not a monologue where only one party is communicating, it is a dialogue. We want too many shortcuts and we make too many demands to God. Richard gave an example of how he made demands for a certain chick to God, but after realising that God does not operate in this way calmed down and can remember God telling him to grow up. (He got the chick and she is now his wife and mother of his children).

In the reading we see that the queen first heard about Solomon, she was unsatisfied and opted to go and see for herself. The same way God takes us from a state of hearing  the word to seeing the word. This may occur through worship. Worship is not just that slow song that we sing, it may be also in the fast song… Worship is a heart that is overwhelmed.

So friends, if you have Just heard about Jesus like you do every Sunday in church, you are only getting HALF the deal, you need to know Jesus personally to get the full deal. I (Kathukya) have invested in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, I know there are pitfalls because I have fallen into them severally but I always get up, jump out and continue on in my journey. Please friends, stop relying on second hand information. Accept Jesus Christ as your personal saviour and you will enjoy the FRUIT of the Holy Spirit to the fullest.

Remember you cannot worship the Lord beyond the degree which you know him. Much of what you say you dont mean, its basic flattery, truth comes from a place of experience. Guys you hear a chick of fly but surely si you need to see her for yourself to believe it? (that was just an example) and oh… ladies, it works both ways.

You have to purpose to want to know God, Remember the lady who touched Jesus Robe?

Mark 5:25-31 (NIV)

25And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. 26She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. 27When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, 28because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” 29Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.

30At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?”

31“You see the people crowding against you,” his disciples answered, “and yet you can ask, ‘Who touched me?’ ”

Yes, As the reading explains she was healed, and again several people had been touching Jesus, being squeezed against him etc. But only one lady had purposed to touch him.

Worship is not forced but you have to purpose to want to know God.

1 Kings 10:6-7 (NIV)

6 She said to the king, “The report I heard in my own country about your achievements and your wisdom is true. 7 But I did not believe these things until I came and saw with my own eyes. Indeed, not even half was told me; in wisdom and wealth you have far exceeded the report I heard.

Don’t live your christian life on other peoples experiences, you are getting only half the deal. Don’t depend on the pulpit, C2, CGz, TV etc. for your life in Christ, Pray, Seek God for yourself.

Deuteronomy 4:29 (NIV)
But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.

1 kings 10:8 (NIV)

8 How happy your men must be! How happy your officials, who continually stand before you and hear your wisdom!

To relate to Jesus Christ you must change your way of thinking.

Psalms 91:1 (NIV)

1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

Your shadow speaks of your presence, you are not a visitor in the presence of the LORD. God does not will not visit you because his presence is there already. All that he will do is manifest himself in you.

1 Kings 10:10 & 13

10 And she gave the king 120 talents [b] of gold, large quantities of spices, and precious stones. Never again were so many spices brought in as those the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.

13 King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba all she desired and asked for, besides what he had given her out of his royal bounty. Then she left and returned with her retinue to her own country.

Giving to a rich person is quite a task, Giving depends on the degree of revelation of Jesus Christ in us.

Imagine a situation where the president’s moti had a failure in the middle of nowhere and he asked you to give him a ride on your taxi bike (Boda boda), knowing the guy does not carry cash… would you refuse? infact if it was your matatu you would orde everyone else just to get him to a safe place. This is because you know that the reward could be as much as another matatu. When you give to a king you challenge his glory. This is because the glory of a king is his wealth.

Come from Reputation to Revelation. Seek God and you will prosper is his love forever.

Yours Faithfuly,
