40 days of community 7 day prayer guide(Message from Reverend George Nuthu).


I trust you’re doing well in the Lord. 

Kindly use the 7-day prayer guide to earnestly focus your prayers during the week as we start the 40 Days of Community Campaign. As you do this be encouraged by the verse below:-

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!” Eph. 3:20-21 (NIV)

DAY 1 (Sunday, 8th February 2009)

God, I pray …

• that during our 40 Days of Community we will keep our eyes on You and what only You can do. We know that without Your power, we will labor in vain.

• that we will dedicate ourselves to prayer in order to get ourselves spiritually ready for what You want to do. Encourage us to saturate these important 40 days in prayer and to become excited about the difference prayer can make.

DAY 2 (Monday, 9th February 2009)

God, I pray …

• for Pastor Philip Kitoto as he leads us. I ask You to fill him with Your Spirit, wisdom, and strength. I also pray for Your protection upon him and his family.

• for the ICC Campaign staff Team and volunteers to experience Your grace and favor as they provide direction for this community emphasis in our church. I pray that they will complete their work for Your glory, honoring You in all they say and do.

DAY 3 (Tuesday, 10th February 2009)

God, I pray …

• that everyone in ICC will join a 40 Days of Community small group, and that they will experience deeper relationships and changed lives. That the leaders of those groups will be equipped for this vital ministry.

• that each person in our church family will read “Better Together” Workbook daily for 40 days and memorize a Bible verse each week.

• for the seven weekend services and the impact they will have on Your people. And, for the strength and joy of all those who will serve during the services for seven weeks.

DAY 4 (Wednesday, 11th February 2009)

God, I pray …

• that we will hunger for spiritual transformation in our families, small groups, and church, as well as for lasting kingdom fruit in our community.

• that all participants will help those in our church who have specific needs (a visit, meal, ride, babysitting, prayer, helping hand around the house, encouragement, etc.) I pray that I, personally, will be more aware of people’s needs and more available to help them.

• that our Ministry Fair will inspire church ministry opportunities, sending more workers into service and giving more people a chance to make a difference by using their talents, skills, and gifts.

DAY 5 (Thursday, 12th February 2009)

God, I pray …

• for our spiritual growth, that You will deepen our faith and use us to encourage others in their faith walk.

• that You will motivate us to act on what we learn during these 40 days in regard to participating in a missions project. May we reach out to our community and beyond with purposeful acts of kindness done in Your name.

DAY 6 (Friday, 13th February 2009)

God, I pray …

• that You will use this prayerful time to help our church reach out to our community more effectively with the Good News, so that many people will commit their lives to Your Son, Jesus Christ.

• That our Small Groups, especially mine, will join powerfully together to do a local outreach project

DAY 7 (Saturday, 14th February 2009)

God, I pray …

• that every person in our church will live in heartfelt community with other church members and neighbors. That we will cultivate a deeper spirit of harmony, love, respect, and appreciation for each other.

• for our Celebration Sunday, that it will be a memorable celebration of all that You have accomplished in us and through us during the 40 Days of Community emphasis.

May God bless you as you soak the Campaign in prayer.


Missing in Action

Dear Friends,

Greetings in Jesus name.

I know many of you are readers of this blog and are quite disapointed at the fact that it is no longer updated. Let me get straight to the point… I have been unwell, in and out of hospital. But as at now I am getting better and the Good Lord is pointing me in the recovery path. I have faith that from Sunday the 15th of this month (June 2008 ) I will be back in action. Your favourate blog will spring back to life.

I trust that you all will pray with me to make this fete a success. God bless you all and thanks for your patience and tolerance.

Sunday 27th August 2007 “Make Space For Fallen Christians”

Dear good people,

I hope you had an extremely great weekend, I know the new comers @ frontrunnerz had a ball of a bash, because I was there. Eeeh! nili gatecrash. Mutadoo?

Anyway back to the business of the day… Pasi began this Sunday with the verse which you should all know so well, whether you attend the service or just blog from the Diaspora

Mathew 18:20 (NIV)

20For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.”

Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.

We all need to bear some form of fruit, this is in line with our role on this earth. There are two types of fruit that can be born good Fruit and bad fruit. The bad fruit are otherwise known as the acts of sinful nature which are obviously…

Galatians 5:19-21 (NIV)

19The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

On the other hand or the better side of life we have the fruit of the Holy Spirit

Galatians 5:22-26 (NIV)

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

Friends which fruit do you bear? Are you living it out to be Christ like, I know we are not all perfect, but we must strive to be more like Christ. We must exercise self control, this must apply to all aspects of our lives…

Proverbs 25:28 (NIV)

Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self-control.

4o% of the population of the United States is obese, overweight, gigantic… This is because of lack of self control when it comes to eating habits. Pasi gave us an example of how here our ice-cream is measured in scoops, as in like 2 scoops per person where as in the states its by the litre per person. Coke in the fast food stops is limit less (By the way HINT HINT HINT if you eat Chicken at Galitos ‘in Nairobi’ the coke is also bila limit).

40% fo the population of Swaziland and Botswana is HIV+, this is because of lack of self control of sexual behavior, pasi created a laugh when he said that the best business to go into it those countries is selling zips since they are always being opened and closed.

We need to get to a place were there is self control. Ladies, if your man is watching action movies and wrestling and the works, don’t think that he will not practice that on you in future, I want to clear that notion in many girls minds that they can change their men. This is utter nonsense and I have seen practical examples of chicks who thought that, but are being hammered in their houses to date.

Evaluate your friends, are they patient? Are they kind? Are they adaptable to change? Check out if your mate prefers to microwave his food instead of cook it, does he fast forward movies looking for the action? Does he kick the cat because it on the way?

Oh and by the way if your boyfriend/girlfriend is dogging, kill the story NOW don’t wait till there is a ring on his/her finger because then it will be divorce and that is CLEARLY forbidden in the bible. Good riddance.

Let us consider the fruit; the greatest of them all is love…

Can any one of us say that we are holier than thou? the chance of someone finding you buying a pint or a mozo, or more still a girls pregnancy begining to show is inevitable. Then we refuse to identify with those that fail. You do not want to be associated with that person who has fallen by the wayside, who has taken to drinking, smoking, that person with HIV.

Friends, what you do unto others will be done unto you!!!

Sexual sin is amongst us. When a girl gets pregnant, people begin to talk trash, Pasi gave the example of someone seeing him buying a bottle of smirnoff ice in a supermarket, instead of the person going to Him (Pasi) and sharing his concern, he/she decides to go and spread the story in rumor mode. Have you noticed how a story that is based on backbiting someone or maligning someone’s name is always itching to be told, that burning sensation to spread the ‘bad’ news.

Well friends the truth is that its better to tell afflicted party (in this case pasi) or tell a friend who can tell him.

Christians who fall into sin are not safe amongst us…

Of all religions, Christianity is without a doubt the one that should inspire tolerance most, although, up to now, the Christians have been the most intolerant of all men.

So if you really need to backbite someone, do it with the Lord, He is always willing to listen. We must stop eating each other alive. We who backbite for a living are the ones who need the most help when we are down. We should make church a ‘spiritual clinic’ We must begin to dine with ‘sinners’ (I put the word sinners in quotes because we are all sinners so ‘sinners’ here means fallen Christians). Remember the story of Zacheus? the terrible tax collector fella who had to climb up a sycamore tree to see Jesus? Well Jesus came to his house and dined with him. Yes, Jesus had dinner with a fella considered to be a ‘sinner’. What were the results of this? Zacheus paid all his debts and apologised to those he had wronged.

We can achieve the same goal and create an atmosphere for a party in heaven. We must standby our fallen fellow Christians.


Romans 3:23-24 (NIV)

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

We kill our own by ignoring or sidelining them when they fall… Who are we lying to? When we fall who will pick up the pieces fro us if we dont help our own friends?

Gossip is saying we are better than others and God detests pride.

-All if us can fall

-All of us can mess up

We need to pray that the Holy Spirit resident within us can come to our aid, come to those who have fallen and come to those who have given up. We need to…

-Pray for peace

-Pray for Understanding

-Pray for patience

-Pray for self control

This will go a long way in helping us control our urge to gossip. Be the place where gossip is burried because your day is coming.

Greater days are coming, choose righteousness. Heaven is too good to miss. Quit stealing from marriage by having sex before. You will find marriage boring and with no excitement. Imagine the honeymoon with nothing to write home about because you have already been there and done that?

Many of us are dying in the inside; our secrets are not safe with other people. We live a life in masks.

As followers of Christ, lets bring back fallen people and one day they will have a testimony to give. We can choose today to shut up about others. It is time to pray and kill gossip.

Hebrews 13:15 (NIV)

15Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that confess his name.

How do we look at the glass? Is it half full or half empty? Be in the business of being appreciable to others. See the good in others. The glass is always half empty, no one is beyond th grace of God. All we need is for someone to love them.

Let me pen off with this passage today…

May Day Open Day (Sports n’ Stuff)

If you where not at MOW on Tuesday the 1st of May 2007, I tell you the truth, hook up with someone who was and get the storo… It was a blast beyond the past. As I type this post, I have a sausage finger from the basketball I played. My muscles are aching and my mind is refreshed.

Going to Naivasha for picnic, going to coasto for a weekend etc cound not for 1000000000/= beat the fun peeps had on Tuesday. From bebaring tois on mkoko’s, baloon races, soccer, mannn, listening to refreshing gospel music with our very own DJ’s, drinking excess 5 alive, BONDING, JD making fun of how I write in the lunch line, being given kidogo food, sharing in fun, cheering our teams etc. I am still hoping to get some pics from the day to post on this blog for peeps to check out.

Hey if you are not in pain like me, you are either phisically extremely fit or you hatad the phun… I must adivse you not to hata another one. Anyway, Please feel free to add coments and compliments to this day to this blog and share with others what you thought of it.


Tuesday Prayer Service

This is an extended time of Worship and Prayer. It is every Tuesday at 6:00pm but you can arrive at 5:00pm and bite storo’s before time… Bonding is part of Godliness remember. Anyway It anzas at 6:00pm and katikaz at 7:30.

Wasee wa tao, there is FREE, SARE, BILA MALIPO transport in tao every Tuesday evening between 4:45pm and 5:20pm. Note that this transi is FREE and will take you back to tao after the service. Maskan is KENCOM.

From my own experience, the Prayer and Worship service on Tuesdayz is Da BOMB. It will make the rest of your week like hanging around Heaven with Sir God. Now just to add some kionjo to the whole storo, is to join a C2. This is just a whole party in Christ the whole week.

People Please do like that banaaa.

Guilty, Guilty, Guilty as CHARGED

Howdy Frontrunnerz,

I have been charged with lengaring this kimblog of mine. Poleni sana. I have vybed Sir God and he sent me this kijanaa called Sammy Kitoto. Sammy has promised to get me an assistant to help keep this blog up to date so that you jammaz and mamaz can keep in touch with Jesus all week at home, at jobiso and even in the cyber when you go scan your mailz. I really hope and pray to Sir God that this tyme round we will be updated and minister using this blog all year thru.

If all goes vibesht, I intend on approaching the clergy to issue us with space on to ingiza a area where we can communicate and seriously spread the word of the most high, His Highness Jesus Christ. But first things first, lets get this blog rollin’ ama? You are ALL free to add comments, whatever comments you wish so long as the skizana with vybes of God.
